Medical Springs, OR is located in North Eastern Oregon. It was homesteaded by Dunham and Artemisia Wright in the 19th century. It is located 24 miles from Baker City, OR and 20 miles from Union, OR. What remains of the original property is still owned by 5th generation decendants of Dunham and Artemisia. At one time there was a post office and country store along with a large swimming pool filled by the hot springs. These facilities are no longer opened to the public.
